SUSHI COUNTER

I know everyone's get alarmed especially my family when I posted on my Instagram my visit at Sushi Counter.
They are telling me that sushi is not good for me and my baby.
Good thing there is internet and a Doctor that tells me to do whatever I want.
So two weeks ago, I was invited to visit Sushi Counter at Al Bandar Branch, Abu Dhabi.
Of course I accepted it whole heartily and I'm sucker for sushi, well who doesn't'?
This is the interior look of the restaurant.
Very casual and laid back design that suits any personal taste.
Here's the setup outside the restaurant, if in case you need some fresh air and a great view.
While waiting for our sushi, we ordered Miso Soup and Salad to try to.
My friends ordered Quinoa and Salmon Salad (upper photo) and Quinoa and Tuna Salad (above photo) which are not suitable for me since the fish are raw. (Well, I'll try it next time!)
The chefs are busy preparing our orders.
I advised them to separate the sushi that has raw ingredients like salmon, fish eggs, etc. from cooked/steamed/grilled sushi for me.
Pregnant women can enjoy indulging themselves to sushi as long as it is cooked.
We ordered some California Rolls like Crab Avocado California Rolls & Shrimp Avocado California Rolls.
For Sushi, we got some Crab Stick, Tobiko, Omelet Sushi, Shrimp Sushi, Salmon Egg Sushi, Eel Sushi & Beef Tartare Sushi.
My friends got some Sashimi as well which is not allowed for me (*sad face*) like Scallop, Salmon and Eel.
The food taste good though I didn't enjoy a lot ahahah.
My best friend who's with me that time told me some points on the restaurant most especially on the food.
Well, years ago my best friend worked in an Authentic Japanese Restaurant in Singapore so she knows the real taste of it.
She said that the food taste just fine but not really authentic, if you're looking for something like that.
On the other hand, if you're craving for sushi within reach, the food here are suitable for you.
Overall, we had so much fun visiting this place.
If you love a place to unwind, far from the city and of course sushi, you can visit their branches in Abu Dhabi.
