PLAID OR GINGHAM + BLOGGER LINK UP

Happy Hump Day! *woooot*
I hope everyone's having a great mid week so far.
Any way, it's another month again of surprises and new things coming up.
If you remember, just a month ago I started having a blogger link up.
This collaboration helps to promote and expand the blogger community around the world.
I might be doing it every Tuesday of the first week and 3rd week of the month.
So for anyone interested in joining this collaboration, you can reach me through my social media posted in the right upper side of my blog or you can email me at thebandwagonchic@yahoo.com and/or zarrahjanegil@gmail.com

For blogger link up, we decided to differentiate plaid and gingham style.
What is plaid? and What is gingham?
Maybe right now your thinking-- is there any difference?
Yes, there is and even myself not even know this kind of stuff before.
Here are some few things to remember:
Gingham is always a white plus another color whether it's a top, a skirt or even a dress while plaid can be any combination of colors.
The lines in gingham have the same width while the lines in plaid have different widths in general though plaid can have same width too.
Plaid is typically made of wool, Gingham, however, is made of light-weight cotton material.
For a best example, you may see the above picture wherein Jess is wearing a gingham top in white and blue stripes that is made in cotton.
As for me, I wear a dress with color combination in black and green though the pattern is not in stripes but in abstract form but they have same width.
So let me ask you, am I wearing plaid or gingham?
At the end of the day, I found out that my dress is a hounds tooth.
It is a duotone textile pattern characterized by broken checks or abstract four-pointed shapes, often in black and white, although other colors are used. (see wikipedia to know more about it)
I hope it clarifies a bit.
You can share some of your ideas too.
Let me know about it.
