A True Nordic Feast Party in the Philippines

"Sleep all day. Party all night. Never grow old. Never die."
Nordcham, in partnership with Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, created an amazing Nordic Feast Party, which they called 'Crayfish Party' last September 8, 2018, in the Sofitel Harbour Tent.
NordCham Philippines (formerly Nordic Business Council Philippines) were established in late 2012 to bring together the Nordic-Philippine business community.
The organization promotes and facilitates trade, commerce, industry, and investment between the Philippines and the Nordic (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden) and Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) countries.
The tent is transformed into a Viking Village with people wearing Viking costumes as well.
The festive party is filled with sumptuous traditional Nordic dishes and a wide range of alcoholic beverages and of course, a bountiful serving of crayfish.
Crayfish, also known as crawfish which are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters.
It's actually my first time trying out this and for me, it tastes ok though it feels like it came straight from the sea, so it means it's kinda salty.
There is also some Filipino food which they served during the event such as lechon.
There's a lot of singing and dancing the night away as the greatest hits of all time is played by the band and DJ.
This event also presents the gathering of the event's proceeds by bidding some items that are donated to the Chosen Children Village (CCV) - a foundation dedicated to providing a home environment and a care facility for physically and mentally challenged children.
It is indeed a nice event to attend knowing that you are helping some children through this.
Overall, the event is amazing and I am looking forward to next year's event.
