I Took Time Off To Decide If I Wanted To Live Or Not

"Life is a journey that must be traveled no matter how bad the roads and accommodations."
Life is tough, I know.
I've been through a lot and nobody even ask me if I am okay.
One day I am happy, working on a daily basis, and the next day, I am thinking: "What the f*ck should I do with my life?"
We've all been there!
There's no exemption in life when it comes to this.
We experience troubles and worries each part of our lives.
I have to say that in many ways I am a creature of habit but I crave change and challenge more often than not.
As I went through the past years of my life, I started to question more and more about what I was actually doing with my life.
My unhappiness started taking a toll on me more and more every day.
Many days I felt like I was going to explode and have a meltdown at work.
I don't see myself doing this for a lifetime and I had no clue what I wanted to do next.
Personally, I felt drained and I went through a lot of dark days.
I missed my home, my friends, and my family.
So I started to think why not take a vacation for a few days even it will not be enough to unwind and take a rest.
I immediately look for someplace and found a travel & tours company and booked it right away.
There's a crazy thought on me that I am thinking of not going back to work anymore.
Once it became a reality the scary thoughts poured in --- wait, how am I paying my bills, how can I help my brother and sister in school, how I am able to provide for my kid, and how I will survive?
But you know what? These are the things that we can figure out when the time comes but giving yourself the chance to heal and be happy is invaluable.
But I what I want people to understand is sometimes you have to be unusual especially when you're away from home and by yourself.
The opportunity to spend time with family, friends and yourself are worth so much more.
Now that vacation days are gone, I can tell you that I still don't have a plan for my future and that will take time, patience and self-discovery.
I can say, however, I get reconnected with mother nature, family and friends, met new people, did some healing and traveled to new places... I am a better version of me -- happier, re-energized and ready to take on the world and future.
Did you have common thoughts about life?
Let me know what you think.
Thanks for taking time reading.
Have a great week ahead!
